I love my garden as somewhere to go and chill out in summer, just now it's looking a bit drab as it's been very, very wet here and everything is soaking!

We do try to be as environmentally aware as possible - recycling is high on the list and our local council is now taking sorted rubbish every week.

I also try and feed the birds too, although having the two cats does make that I bit tricky. We have several 'cat (and squirrel) proof' feeders which help and they get strung high up to make it easier for the birds to stay safe. We've lots of trees at the back of the garden so there's plenty of space for nesting.

We've also just got involved with the local King George V park, and the kids from the local school planmted lots of new plants just before the summer holidays and it's starting to look really good. The local council are also putting in some new play equipment and lighting so hopefully we can all make more use of the open space!

Harold

Harvey

I have two cats - Harold and Harvey. They are brothers who came from the local Cats Protection centre. They are both ginger neutered toms but completely different in character. Harold is a wee softy who likes nothing better than to sleep on our clothing. Harvey likes to pretend he's a big tough tom cat, but he's a bit of a wimp at times! (runs away from strange noises) But he does like to sleep on my knee at night.
